There are 1 or 2 bedroom cottages available besides the bigger ones. Anywhere in town is in walking distance to the Community Center where the conference will be held. You could share a big house with 4-5 bedrooms. (You may simply post your idea of looking for roommates on the HCH Student Group.)

If you are interested in some houses and have questions regarding their locations, don't hesitate to ask me. I don't know all the houses as well as the agencies but I will give you what I know. TO Get Around in Hope Town, Abaco, Bahamas
By foot:
Nothing is more trustworthy than your own two feet that will take you anywhere you need to go! You can stop by beaches on your way and pop in and out of places easily. (We do recommend that you look at golf cart or bike rental for exploring the island. Visit this site for all the information. https://www.ilovehopetown.com/ )
By bike:
Bikes for both adults and children are available at The Bike Shop in town. Explore by bike is highly recommended eco-friendly way to get to to any corner of the island. (Be aware that there's a gate to control golf cart traffic in-through the town center/inner settlement. But you can freely explore both north and south parts of the island freely on a bike - it's like sailing on land! ) Just to give you an idea, it takes about 1 - 1.5 hours to bike (non-stop) from one end to the other end of our wee island!

Final Destination Airport is Marsh Harbour (MHH)
Flight options:
(1) Fly to Nassau, then from Nassau to Marsh Harbour (3 local airlines)
(for Canadians this route avoids going through U.S.)
You would search flights to Nassau. Then with the local airlines (see below) from Nassau to Marsh Harbour.
(2) Fly to Marsh Harbour via Florida or Atlanta
You would search flights to Marsh Harbour (MHH).

SkyBahamas (2:45pm flight from Nassau to Marsh Harbour)
WesternAir (4pm flight from Nassau to Marsh Harbour) - recommended/time

They all have an early flight back from Marsh Harbour to Nassau.
Albury Ferry from Marsh Harbour to Hope Town: (about 20 minutes ride)
Ferry now runs all day till 10pm to Hope Town and the earliest ferry leaves 5:45am going back to Marsh Harbour.
